stuck inside cleaning out closets and waiting for Bella to wake from her nap. Oh well I was outside all day yesterday for a baseball game and a Command Picnic. Then I got to spend the evening with my dear friend Erin who delivered her 4th baby boy at 12:06pm yesterday! She delivered in the same hospital I did. I had not been there since we left with Bella 17 1/2 months ago. A flood of emotions came over me as I stepped into the elevator and tears crept to my eyes. Why? I am not sure. I wanted so bad to be back there with my little angel all tiny and sweet. I could feel her soft skin and see her tiny face all over. I wanted to come home and look at old photos, but I do not have any. So, I went to her room, picked her up from her crib and rocked her till I was about to fall asleep. She was so sweet sound asleep in my arms! I miss her being tiny so much, but I love her at this age too. How is that? How is it that God created us to love a person as much as we love our children? Wow....this post is taking a new turn.....
Back to the title....I am almost done cleaning out closets. I did Bella's last weekend, the boys today and I hope to tackle mine this week. That may be tricky as I am working every day this week. I have been doing so for the past three weeks. I love the work, but I am missing Bella. When I get home and I am really tired, so we are not going out much. She does not seem to mind, but I feel guilty! We are spending a lot of time on the baseball field which she handles like a champ. We are so lucky to have such an easy going gal!
In Bella news, she is talking like crazy! She recently told me "NO", and she told Suzie to "get out" on Saturday! She loves to shake her finger when she wants something and she turns her head if she is not interested in what you have to say.....attitude already?? Really?? She loves to give kisses unless you ask for one and she kisses Suzie as much as Suzie will allow.
Sorry for not updating sooner and not including photos. We are busy busy! Look for photos tomorrow~

Easter Start to Finish
Saturday was beautiful in Memphis. After our trip to Downtown we came home and spent another hour outside playing ball with all three kids. My Dad was in Heaven tossing the ball around with the boys. Even Bella took part in the action tossing a pink Princess ball to Grandpa. Bella was really tired, so I put her down for a nap and left her with the guys while she slept. Mom, Grandma, and I went out to the base to window shop for a little while and the guys watched a movie. When we returned home Bella was up and ready to go again.
This is when the Easter festivities began:
Bella and I just after she placed her first egg in the dye. She did not break one. She did a really good job except for wanting to put her hands in her mouth after she took them out of the dye....Yuck!
There it is. Of course it is in pink dye.

Get it out Mommy; I want it back was her reaction. I am giving her kisses to distract her.
That is it....I will get it out myself!
Bella, Grandma Debbie, Great Grandma and Zak working hard on our egg art.
Grandma Debbie, Zak, and Bella ready for Bella's first Easter Egg Hunt to begin.
Bella found her first egg.....with a little help.
Another one. When she spotted the eggs she would get so excited. She would run to it, toss it in her basket and sign more. The boys were big helps in helping her find the eggs. Even Suzie helped her find one. Too bad Suzie tried to eat it.
Bella was not able to carry her basket so she drug it behind her.
Hey there has to be more!
Yeah, I found one more. This year the Bunny went easy on her. They were just laying out in the yard. Next year he may get a little more tricky.
My beautiful family!
My kids are so beautiful!
Bella stops hunting for a photo with Mommy.
The Bunny left all kinds of goodies!
The boys digging in.
Bella loves the stroller and the Ducky the Bunny left for her.

Here Grandma you try one.
My Easter Table.
Bella and her first chocolate bunny!
Bella eating the ears. Like her Mommy she loves chocolate. We were teasing her and asking for a bite and she would pull her hands in close to her body and shake her heard no.
Our Easter dinner consisted of a ham, deviled eggs, spinach souffle, fruit, dip, rolls, family and our good friends the Gaines family. We sang our praises to our Almighty for all the gifts we are blessed with!
There is it, Easter 2009 in an "eggshell". Easter this year was a blast. I am sure Bella did not put any of it together, but she did take part in the traditions. Bella's age is so much fun. On the other hand, I was saddened by the boys reaction to Easter this year. They did not want to go see the Bunny, Nik did not want to help dye eggs, and they wanted to hide the eggs for Bella vs hunt them. It is tough to see your kids out growing such innocent things. I know this is a natural progression in life. And, I am pretty sure if they still believed a 6 foot bunny hopped into the house and hid eggs we would be worried about them. That said is was still sad today to see some of their childhood has slipped away.
Happy Monday!

"And We Were Walking 10 Feet off Beale"
My parents and Grandma Rossetto came down on Friday night for a quick visit to celebrate Easter with us. Saturday was filled with a quick tour of Memphis. Enjoy.....
Our day began early on Saturday with the first stop being at the Peabody in Downtown Memphis. We arrived just in time to see a lot of people watching the duck parade. However we were not able to get close enough to actually see it. Oh, well we were able to see the ducks splashing around and that was enough for us.

These ducks are probably better taken care of than Suzie and as you all know she is WELL taken care of:)
Bella on the "ducks" red carpet and the Duck Master.
The boys trying to keep Bella from petting the ducks. She kept calling them doggies.
Mom, Grandma, Zak, Nik, and Bella under the Rendezvous road sign.
There is it. The home of "World Famous Ribs". Yummy
Nik enjoying his slab of ribs....."Never since Adam has a rib been so famous....." a Rendezvous quote Nik thought was funny.
Yes, he lives in a cave with his other "people".
For those of you that watch the Travel Channel's "Man vs Food", Rendezvous was featured last week on the show. This is the head cook (Bob) at the Rendezvous that did the interview with the host of "Man vs. Food".
After I recognized Bob and we took a picture with him he took me back to see where all the yummyness (not really a word, but it sounds cute here) starts. Yes, that is an indoor charcoal grill!
Grandma Debbie and her kiddos chill-in outside the Rendezvous.
After will filled our bellies with ribs, slaw and baked beans we went on a trolley ride around the city. This is a co. my Dad called on in the 70's when he worked for my Grandpa Rossetto. It was neat for him to see. And, for me it was like my Grandpa R. had thrown in a little something to say he was with us.
Just in case you were wondering what city we toured:)
Bella making a break for it on the trolley.
We hopped off the trolley on "Beale Street" and enjoyed a few beers and some jazz music on the street. This is Mom and I toasting to our first beer on Beale. Mom had never been to Beale and I had never drunk on Beale.
Larry and I on Beale.
Bella "dancing" to the jazz band. Showing us all she enjoyed Beale too.
What can I say? Ben Franklin says in all!

Our favorite jazz band. I have no idea who they are, but they were good.

Wordless Wednesday
Almost.....these are from yesterday. I took Bella to see the Easter Bunny and as you can see, she was not nearly as excited as I was.
Then it was time for dinner. I made the boys shell shaped noodles with marinara sauce. I was up for the challenge, so I gave Bella bowl full. She loved them and did a great job feeding herself.
