Happy New Year

We rang in 2011 with four other families at our house last night. The above photo is of my favorite girls. Left to Right.....Sabrina, Callen, and Bella.

Callen's Mama calls her "Sparkle". I found the purple t's online at Gymboree and I had to have them for the girls. Are they not the prettiest girls ever? I have known Callen since she was 4. She was secretly my favorite little lady in PreK at St. Ann. She is a neat little lady and I am very excited that Bella looks up to her. And looks up to Callen Bella does!

Da Boys! They played PS3 or watched movies all night! When you have 10 adults and as many kids in a house things can get crazy. Not when these kids are at our house. There was NO MESS upstairs, and they never fussed at each other. They are all great kids and we are all very lucky parents.

Things were really calm until this point. We decided it was a good idea to get out the Lemonchello. Let's just say we were having fun up to this point, but we really had fun after this point!

It is so smooth and sweet it goes down very easily! Thus, we need another bottle. I have to tell you all that I have FINALLY learned my lesson and did not do one shot! Nope, shots kill me and I have finally gotten to the point in my life that I can admit I cannot hang.

It is always a good idea to check out someone's camera to make sure there are no photos that could be used as blackmail. I am sure there were blackmail material photos on here, but apparently I thought they were funny.

Taking pictures of each other taking pictures. Are we the only adults that do immature crap when we drink too much? How high school is it to take pictures of someone taking pictures of you? It was funny at the time......

Tis the Season......

We kicked this season off by attending the Bartlett Christmas Parade on Saturday night. It was no Macy's Day(not that I have been to the Macy's Day), but it kept the kiddos attention.

Finally Santa arrived!!!

Bella loves to be outside! It was soooo cold on Sunday, but she begged me to take her out for so long I finally gave in. In the above photo Bella is playing golf with her new golf set from Aunt Michelle.

Then, she had to go for a drive in her Cub car.

Sunday night we put up the Christmas Tree. Zak was given the honors of putting on the star this year.

Thanksgiving

My family came down for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We all had a great time. Lori, Larry's sister came down with her son on Friday. It was a great weekend with family!

Not the forgotten Middle Chid

Have you ever noticed there are very few photos of Nik on the blogg? This child is his dad in so many ways it is remarkable. For starters, he does not make the blogg often for the same reason you do not see Larry on here, they both despise having their photos taken.
Nik is so hard headed he and I clash often. Ask anyone in my family and they will tell you the same thing about me. However, since Larry joined the family I have had to take second in the hard head category. Now, as Nik gets a little older I am about to take third. For Larry and Nik there is one way to do everything; their way or it is the wrong way.
Nik is quiet. Just like Larry you have to slowly peel away the layers before you get to see what it going on with this child. He is never dramatic, he is never a motor mouth, and he is never in need of attention. In fact if I leave him alone all day he is happier than if I try to hang out with him or talk to him a lot.
Nik is very smart again, just like Larry. Nik just gets stuff.
That is my Nik. My son that I love for being so him. My middle child that is never forgotten. My son that makes me smile when he hugs me for no reason because I do not get many hugs from Nik. Nik is my child I do not worry about. Like his dad, he has it all under control, he just never tells us about it!

Happy 3rd Birthday Princess

Bella turned 3 on Thursday. I had to work, so we had her mommy, daddy, Zak, and Nik party that evening. She was so excited when we got home from picking Zak up at swimming and the birthday fairy had left her all these gifts!

Grandma Carla and Grandpa Steven came down on Friday to celebrate her birthday. Grandpa is helping her put together her new baby swing.

Grandma and Grandpa bought her a vanity. Mommy established a new rule after it arrived in the mail......you buy it you build it. Larry is so busy that putting stuff together was my job. That vanity was a pill.

Blowing out her candle for the 100th time. This kid thought it was her birthday party for 4 days. I had to leave the princess table cloth on the table and when she wanted a piece of cake I had to light the candle every time. It was so cute!

Just being a ham.....
